Skinning is a profession that can be fairly lucrative if used correctly. There are a few different ways to make gold using skinning. First, you can skin rare mobs that drop rare items. Next, commons mobs can be skinned in hopes of getting rare furs. Finally, regular mobs that can be used for leather. While it’s nice to hit a home run and get some rare stuff via skinning, leather is easily the most consistent way to make gold. Your best bet is to have nice income flow going via leather skinning while you continue to be on the lookout for those home runs.
